1 9 Tdi white smoke from exhaust

I did a bit of digging around online and stuff and most sites said to check coolant levels etc. If it was unburnt diesel, you and the whole neighborhood would smell it ! Thick white smoke blowing out the exhaust! This video should only be used as guidance and not as an absolute-guide.


If you don’t know what you are doing. There was whites smoke being emiitted from the exaust. The turbo has been replaced by the garage. White smoke from exhaust that looks like thin wisp is the topic for today.


The accumulated condensation is simply finding a way out of the pipe. The car got water in diesel tank and now has white smoke from start to stop, hot or cold. Turbo was repaired and timing was checked.


The engine has a new head gasket and no oil in water. Overnight, condensation can collect in the exhaust which will turn into steam as your engine warms up. Normally when i acceleration the car got white smoke behin my car is do 9000.

E model and plagued with problems since buying it from a trader only a couple of months ago. The hydraulic oil that keeps the pressure in your brake system smokes a lot when it comes into contact with something hot (such as your exhaust system or the hot brake discs). Having said that as yours has been replaced then assuming it was a good quality sound turbo that has been fitted then it almost rules that out. I have a VW Golf mk 1. I asked a seller if there was any smoke from the exhaust and he said just the usual puff when you put your foot down around town. When I put my foot down in my tdi Fabia I get a bit of a puff out of the back (no sniggering).


My limited knowledge tells me white smoke = water, although someone. Not long been a VW owner. TDI with 40Mileage I was driving this morning along the bypass come to a junction and went to drop down gear and it was revving high and smoking white smoke. I cut it out, started it again and it started and then eventua. The combination of the coolant and engine oil will create a milky appearance in the smoke.

All it takes is for just a little bit of coolant to get into the combustion chamber for white smoke to be produced. But then, after turning the car aroun and revving the engine, billows of white smoke appeared and oil pouring (absolutely pouring, not dribbling) out of the exhaust pipe. TDi altitude and I seem to have a problem with a rather smokey Treg. First thing all of us Mechanics, automotive Diagnosticians, and Gear heads want to know is:. What kind of Vehicle are we talking about.


It is highly unlikely for coolant to leak into the exhaust from the turbo.
