Royal Botanical Gardens is home to restaurants and a teahouse, open for lunch seasonally on the border of Hamilton and Burlington. Four distinct formal gardens are contained with 1hectares of nature reserve, nestled into the slopes of Niagara Escarpment World Biosphere Reserve. The historic complex contains tropical, sub tropical and cold greenhouses.

These pictures were taken inside the Palm House, which is basically the largest glass greenhouse I have ever laid eyes on. I cannot even imagine how many people it would take to keep this greenhouse up and running. A walk inside the greenhouse complex might relate King Leopold II ardent interest in the plantation.
