Seafoam white smoke

Seafoam white smoke

Seafoam makes white smoke when it burns. I drive miles to the store, minutes later re crank engine, sit for a moment, start noticing white smoke , drive home, oil pressure still stable at 25psi, engine still has the unbalanced feeling. Get home, and let the engine run for minutes - smoke coming from exhaust the whole time. After you ran it with gas again the smoke went away.

This caused the oil to become very. I had heard about the smoke this stuff generates, and I didnt really want to smoke out my neighborhoo so I went out to one of the local shopping centers. I just did the seafoam treatment after reading some posts here.

I ran it through the hose on the TB let it set mins started it up just a couple big puffs of white smoke went away fast put the rest in the gas. I drove it down to the quarter tank mark from full I did notice better throttle responce didnt hurt the plugs. CHOKING it with liquid seafoam directly into the vacuume system and into the intake charge and engine.

When deciding how to use Sea Foam Motor Treatment there are three options: in the crankcase, in the fuel tank, and in the diesel fuel filter. For cleaning the top en use Sea Foam Spray as directed. When added to the oil, Sea Foam will clean up sludge, quiet noisy lifters, and remove oil varnish. The engine coughed smoke and shook, then started to smooth out.

You should have seen a little smoke either way however. Similar to cold morning startups where you get steam out of the tailpipe. This is normal and will not harm your motorcycle. I seafoamed but with alot more smoke so I repeated the same steps.

When I drove it was jerking but would accelerate like normal. I changed my oil after i drove around for about 5-miles. At first i thought that maybe some seafoam with still burning off in the cats but could it takes this long to burn off? Did the seafoam fubar my engine. I let it warm all the way up and slowly poured 8oz into the brake booster vacuum line.

After I got all 8oz in, I shut it off and poured the rest of the can in the gas. Its primary purpose is to clean the fuel system of varnish and fuel deposits. It also cleans carbon from your combustion chamber to help reduce emissions and allow your vehicle to run better. You can also run it in your engine oil to remove sludge deposits.

Once you put in the SeaFoam as per the directions, it does a good job. Pisses off the neighbours too with a ton of white smoke. As KiloNiggaWatt mentioned though, it may clean the cylinders but the gunk can then cause a problem somewhere else down the system.

I have used this product for many years on my gas engines (trucks, cars), my two stroke and 4stroke snowmobiles, outboards, etc with great success. It seemed to run a bit better. I did just rebuilt the Autolite 2bbl carb. I was kinda looking forward to it. A cracked head may allow coolant to leak into one or more cylinders or into the combustion chamber of the engine.

Stay at or under 0rpm’s. You’ll see small amounts of white smoke from the tailpipe – Don’t be tempted to rev it hard – We’ll get to the REAL smoke show in a minute! I have a gallon fuel tank and SeaForm can says to put 1oz for every gallon (cans gallons). So I put cans in and drove 5miles and truck ran normal.

At fuel-up I put another cans and drove miles to the house.
