Perdana botanical garden events

We visited the botanical gardens on the way to the other attractions close by such as the butterfly park and planetarium. It is very big with lots of different plant sections, and there is a large playground which is great if you have kids. A good starting point or meeting point is the Laman Perdana, a square near the boathouse that’s a designed gathering spot. It is one of the city’s favourite green spaces.

It’s prettily landscape verdantly green, and covers about hectares. Lush, alive, and buzzing with life, the public space contains many interesting and free attractions for escaping the city one afternoon. Perdana Botanical Garden Lake gardens is nice and relaxing with lots of beautiful and exotic plant life. These are local fruits that were once prevalent in Malaysian diets of yore but have since either fallen out of favour or become obsolete.

The park served as place of refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city during colonial times. It contains large sculpted and manicured gardens and a host of attractions. It lies just on the edge of the city and used to be where the British elite built their fine homes in colonial times. Located close to a manmade lake, the square is fitted with a massive semi-transparent awning, cafes serving light snacks and beverages, as well as gazebos overlooking the gardens.
