Thin white smoke coming from exhaust

What does white smoke from motorcycle exhaust mean? What can cause white smoke to come out of exhaust? Why is white smoke coming out of my tailpipe?

What causes white smoke from exhaust and smells like oil? One cause of white smoke from the exhaust might be the engine leaking coolant. If the engine leaks coolant, it will be burned by the heat of the engine and then come out as smoke from the exhaust. A problem with antifreeze might also be causing white smoke to come from the exhaust. Antifreeze is used to stop your car from seizing up in cold weather.

Thin white smoke is usually a result of condensation build-up within the exhaust system and will burn out fairly quickly. It also tends to occur on cold mornings. It shouldn’t be something to worry about, but if it occurs in conjunction with other symptoms, such as a loss of engine performance, it may indicate a more serious issue. If the problem is with transmission flui it means that the engine is taking fuel through a hosepipe, and this is what leads to white smoke coming out of the tailpipe when you press on the pedal.

The most noticeable symptom of internal coolant leakage is when the white smoke is billowing out of the exhaust pipe and leaves a sweet odor in the air. The most common reason for white smoke from the exhaust pipe that is condensed in the exhaust pipe. Steam is emitted by condensation in exhaust pipe which is seen at exhaust emission.

Thin, white smoke coming from an exhaust pipe usually indicates normal condensation buildup in the exhaust , but thick , white smoke can indicate a problem like the engine burning coolant , a cracked engine block , a blown head gasket or damaged cylinder head. It seals the combustion chambers , as well as the coolant and oil passages. A leaking or blown head gasket can allow coolant to enter the combustion chamber. This kind of smoke disappears. As a car owner you expect something to come from the tailpipe.

One of two conditions is responsible for white smoke blowing out of your exhaust. First is normal condition (so you don’t have to panic) and the second is a not so normal condition which should be fixed as soon as possible. As the engine warms up and the condensation dissipates the white exhaust smoke (steam) is no longer seen. Here are some of the most common things that cause it broken down by smoke thickness. White smoke itself is not necessarily an indication that something is wrong.

Keep in mind that some smoke is completely normal at times. When you fist start your vehicle (espescially in colder climates) white smoke is normal until the engine warms up. How to Diagnose a Car with White Smoke from Exhaust.

There are several ways to diagnose a car with white smoke. However, some ways are easier and faster than others. I work as a mechanic, and this is the way I would diagnose this issue.

There’s nothing to be worried in this case as it disappears very quickly. On the other han thick white smoke could be the warning sign of many serious issues such as a broken cylinder hea blown head gasket , or a cracked engine block – all of which are costly repairs. Can anyone please suggest me where in Dubai , Sharjah or Ajman I can get the car engine fixed with right prices. Any idea about the approx cost for repair?

Thin white smoke coming from exhaust

Had the car about months so far and no problems whatsoever. Coming home from work earlier however I noticed thin white smoke coming out the exhaust in the rear mirror and a small cloud of it when I parked up. Does this indicate a problem?

The head gasket is a thin , shaped.
