Vumba botanical gardens

The scenery in Vumba is that of high massifs, juxtaposed with lush green natural forests, vast plantations of pine and wattle, perennially flowing rivers, crystal clear upland rivers cascading down-slope and deep ravines. The rain forest like vegetation juxtapose the Savannah lands of Zimbabwe. You will definitely sing with angles. The garden encompasses an impressive 2ha.


The name (aka Bvumba ) is derived from the thick mist that covers the place most of the time. The nucleus of the combined area was bought by Government from Mr. Very private and a great view.


Decor is a bit outdated in the house, but kitchen has all you need and caretaker Stephen was very helpful. You can spend a laid-back day checking out the sights and exploring the area. It should be noted that most of the Parks are located in Ecological Regions Four and Five or rugged mountainous areas which would not have much economic alternative use.
