Auburn botanical gardens opening hours

Auburn Botanic Gardens is FREE during on week days , during school term. Outside these hours, it is free for Auburn residents and kids under 16yrs. For everyone else, it is $on weekends and during the school holidays. And then it is $during the Cherry Blossom Festival.


TripAdvisor among attractions in Auburn. The opening hours for Auburn Gardens are from 9am to 5pm every week day. Outside of Daylight Savings times the gardens are also open at this times over the weekends. On the weekends, during Daylight Saving Times Auburn Gardens are open from 9am to 6pm.


Soos Creek Botanical Garden is dedicated to promoting the enjoyment, understanding and conservation of plants and the natural world along with our community’s local history through education, research, and stewardship. We invite you to experience our gardens and programs with us, as we continue to enhance them. The admission is free with a donation box provide if you wish.


Absolutely loved our experience at auburn botanical gardens. It really is a nice day out for families or even for a picnic. The gardens are huge and easy to navigate. The Japanese gardens and Australian native animal sanctuary was our favorite. Open all year from 9am -5pm.


Weekend entry is $for adults and $for festival periods. Tucked away in suburban Auburn is a gorgeous Japanese garden that takes your breath away every time you see it. You would not expect a local garden in a small suburb to have such a beautiful park that is also a place of serenity.

These gardens are a good size and the Japanese Gardens were a highlight for me. Beautiful ponds and bridges with lots of Koi fish. Plenty of shady places to sit and reflect or enjoy a picnic.


Admission and parking are FREE. Birmingham Botanical Gardens is open daily from dawn to dusk every day of the year. Monday - Friday and on most weekends. February – March 2 the Greenhouses will be open to Orchid Show ticketed visitors only. Other special exhibitions and events, such as Members-Only Previews, may cause early closing of Garden areas.


The Garden CafĂ© will be closed January – January 31.
