Auburn botanic gardens cherry blossom 2018

Auburn Botanic Gardens is one of the most popular places in Sydney to view beautiful cherry blossoms. Being Sunday and a nice sunny day it was very crowded but still worth while. As one of the biggest local events of the year, the festival attracts visitors from all over Sydney.

It’s spring time here in Sydney! We were anticipating a large number of visitors so we arrived early, about 8am, just to make sure we have a parking space. While waiting for the garden to open, we first had our breakfast at the park. Any garden or flower enthusiast should visit and don’t be scared to take the kids – they will enjoy it too.


It may be quite a trip to get there but I am sure you wont be disappointed. There are also a number of other features worth a look such as the Scented Garden , Rose Garden (best during October and November) and the Reflection Pool. Japanese Gardens , Auburn Botanical Garden.


This year the festival will feature different themes each day so make sure to check out the program. Themes include Hanami, Garden Day, Kids Day, Serenity, Seniors Day and. Tickets are now on sale for visitors or can be pre-booked online for free for residents.


Beautifully kept gardens , especially the Oriental gardens. Cherry blossom festival was. It just feels relaxing and in Japan. We have covered some family friendly attractions for you at this great local location.


Find this awesome flower festival on August 17th – 26th. They have a festival on over two weekends where they have sumo wrestling, taiko drums, ikebana presentations, etc, but I wanted to view the blossoms when there were less people. Not only will you get to see the beautiful blossoms, you’ll also be treated to an array of entertainment, including J-pop performers and origami workshops. I feel comforted that Mr Dean willing go with me (the girls I invited are busy busy in the weekend-_-). By Train and Bus: Take a TInner West and South Line from Circular Quay, Wynyar Town Hall or Central Station or the TWestern Line from Central Station.
