BMW 320d exhaust giving off white smoke and oil pouring out? My car yesterday suddenly starting giving off huge amounts of white smoke out of the exhaust, before this had happened the turbo had stopped working as i had no power on the motorway. This could be linked to the failed turbo. After taking of with the car when it idled for about minute, there is a lot of smoke coming out the exhaust. I have been noticing white smoke from the exhaust.
Hello, I was recently struggling with cold starts, rough idle and puff off white smoke on cold starts. Had it plugged in and had glow plug faults. Car complaints, car problems and defect information. If I continue to drive the car the smoke continue to come out.

Appears to be blue smoke - oil out the exhaust. Well it was when I had mine changed. Did some research and decided to monitor it the next time I started it up.
After my car idles and warms up, i get white smoke on the muffler, and if i step on the gas pedal, it gets worse with alot of white smoke.
