While the gardens themselves are small but nice, they harbor only a small number of cherry trees concentrated in two small avenues, and the total view is not impressive. This is third year at the festival for Hudson, who has notched up a mere 40-odd trips to Japan, and sees local throngs. It’s spring time here in Sydney!

This year the festival will feature different themes each day so make sure to check out the program. Themes include Hanami, Garden Day, Kids Day, Serenity, Seniors Day and. I feel comforted that Mr Dean willing go with me (the girls I invited are busy busy in the weekend-_-). Now, the festival takes place at the Seattle Center every Spring.

There were different Japanese Dance performances, aroma wafting from food stalls and cosplay too. People can bring a picnic to Japanese garden, enjoy Japanese traditional performances at the same time.
It seems cherry blossom does not looks well in rain day. The flower down to the ground with wind is another moment to attract visitors. Flower with vivid color. Photographers can’t resist using cherry blossom trees for portrait backdrops! One day I’ll go to Japan in springtime to see the cherry blossoms, but for now the Beijing Garden in Canberra will do.
