The last team, GCMGeogirls, crossed the finish line at a time of hours and minutes and the fastest team, Dog Day Afternoon, came in on Friday night in hours and minutes. The stunning Melbourne trail kicks off in the outskirts of the Melbourne CB winding its way through the densely forested Dandenong Ranges aNational. The routes may be point-to-point or follow a circular route returning to the start.
It was a unique experience, a great adventure and a big challenge. Nominate your crew by telling us all about why they should be recognised and the special ways they supported you along your journey, not just on event weekend but in your training and preparation before the start line too. Not only do they give their precious time to help us with our goal of ending world poverty, but they also form the backbone of our organisation.
The new trail will start at Emerald Lake, make its way over the Dandenong Ranges. Paddy Pallin and expert guest speakers will share valuable information including gear advice, training tips, blister prevention, injury man. It’s easy to get involved: walk, volunteer or donate! The Trailwalker community is tightknit in Melbourne, including hundreds of dedicated volunteers and support crews, who have come together again and again over the past two decades, through good and bad times, supporting each other. The challenge: complete the 100km walk within hours and finish with your full team of 4. In addition, you get the benefit of raising funds for one of the most affective global charities in Australia, Oxfam.

Over the course of the event’s year history more than 1Million dollars has been raised! Past editions of this event, from most recent to oldest, are listed below. Over 7teams took part in the 100km and 50km events, with over 6volunteers and staff supporting them, and have so far raised over 2. It’s winter, and a cold one too, here in Melbourne.
