Mitsubishi l200 white smoke

Mitsubishi l200 white smoke

When starting from col the vehicle belches out smoke. He limped it home (about half a mile) at 10mph and it starts fine, but belts out smoke of all colours from the exhaust. The engine was new last year and had been running fine prior to taking for service on Wednesday. I picked it up and drove it 2miles straght away.

When accelerating i see too much black smoke coming out of the tailpipe. About seconds after firing up when the engine is col idling goes lumpy (down to 500rpm, jumping up and down) and white smoke starts to blow from the exhaust. When the engine has warmed up, the problem goes away entirely. They present as almost like a fuel system issue, because the miss is so heavy and the white smoke so significant the car is virtually un-drivable. WHY DIESELS SMOKE : Diesel car engines get smoky because of a few common reasons.

Identifying the smoky colours, often black or white smoke , can help you diagnose the cause of the problem. That in turn can help you cure and stop a smoking diesel engine. Do you see white smoke from a diesel engine when accelerating or startup? The problem is:I have changed the injector, replaced head gasket, checked piston ring and the problem still exist. It can start smoothly but always gives off excessive white smoke.

I wonder is it have special timing mark for fuel pump timing? Alright guys this is my last problem and then my truck will be running perfect. My truck randomly white smokes the only pattern i can see is that it normally starts after its been driven for a while and the has to idle for an extended period of time. The car was struggling to start and when i got it going again, there was a lot of white smoke. Now the car is still running rough and has no power what so ever.

Mitsubishi l2Animal 2. I have a friend with an L2which is suffering from the a lack of power. White smoke from the exhaust can mean many things, but one of the most common problems is when the engine is running hotter than usual. A little bit of white smoke when you start the car can be the engine warming up and getting rid of condensation but a lot of smoke when the car is running can be the sign of a few problems in the car.

I test drove it for ten miles on a range of roads everything was fine bar it being very low on fuel and having a dodgy battery. About miles from the guys house the engine management light came on and power was down slightly, not l. Diesel engine on my mitsubishi l2making knocking sound and white smoke. Reply 1: Symptoms indicates a possible misfiring cylinder. I suspected a bad injector and loosened each injector fuel line one at a time. When I loosened the fuel line to injector the motor started to die.

Question - Why is my mitsubishi l2so hard to start - 36. You said smoke clears after. If the vehicle is idealing there is plenty of white smoke but not contentious.

If smoke is being release then this is indicative of a problem. HOWTO looks at all the possible reasons why white smoke is coming from your exhaust pipe. All that white smoke coming out of the tailpipe is actually steam.

As the coolant is dumped into the exhaust system, it quickly vaporizes and turns from liquid to steam and comes out of the exhaust.
