Relax in the shade or enjoy a coffee among some of Australia’s finest plant collections. I enjoyed my 1st visit to the garden and meeting others on the tour with their own gardening experience. Venue Sites include stunning garden displays and historic structures which provide a fabulous backdrop to your special event. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day. Enjoy the garden ’s classic attractions including rolling down Tumble Hill, finding your way through the kid-friendly Muhly Maze, or water play down Thunder Ridge into the Greehey Family Foundation No Name Creek.


For new to do’s, don’t miss the outdoor. Note that they are closed during Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. SAN ANTONIO BOTANICAL GARDEN LOCATION. I really wanted to see more tropical flowers.

This place is huge but it lacks many plants. Some were just the typical plants that is in stores. This is a must see when visiting San Antonio ! They have so much to see and do there. I would dedicate at least 2-hours to take it all in- I think. Fun, interactive and informative evening.


Whether traveling to the area or a native this is a great evening! The gardens was spacious and the walking trails led you through a maze of scenic delights. Parking is provided in a nearby lot, so customers can easily walk to and from their cars.

I love to garden , and it was so fun to see all the different plants (some of which i have!) in a more natural state.


And I was a little tired and cranky. I was also a little disappointed when we arrived because quite frankly, the place looks tiny. Discover the extensive collection of water-wise plants from Australia and South Africa , brilliant displays of Ericas and Proteas in spring and an extensive collection of plants from Kangaroo Island and the Fleurieu Peninsula.

It encompasses a fenced garden on North Terrace (between the old Royal Adelaide Hospital site and the National Wine Centre) and behind it the Botanic Park (adjacent to the Adelaide Zoo). This botanical garden is found on acres and is home to native plants, roses, and even a glass conservatory. Wander the trails, meditate near the ponds and soak in the life that this garden exudes.
