Apollo xp95 optical smoke detector

The XPOptical Smoke detector uses an internal pulsing infrared LED and a photo-diode at an obtuse angle. In clear air conditions the photo-diode in the XPdetector receives no light from the LED and produces a corresponding analogue signal. Works using the light scatter principle.

Responds well to slow-burning, smouldering fires. Well-suited for bedrooms and escape routes. Red LED illuminates when the detector is in alarm. Certified to EN54-by the LPCB. The optical smoke detector is designed to react quickly to slow smouldering fires which produce a lot of smoke.

The signal increases when smoke enters the chamber and light is scattered onto the photo-diode. The XPmultisensor detector contains an optical smoke sensor and a thermistor temperature sensor whose outputs are combined to give the final analogue value. The multisensor construction is similar to that of the optical detector but uses a different lid and optical mouldings to accommodate the thermistor temperature sensor. The labyrinth is designed to exclude light from any external source. Contractor Friendly - The duct detectors feature time and money saving features such as single latch cover entry, no tools locking sampling tubes, test ports for smoke testing with the cover in place, and terminals dedicated for the different trades.

A high specification programmable opticial smoke detector with drift compensation. User programmable to operate in one of five sensivity modes (e.g. Mode will give a higher senstivity to fire than Mode 5). When in standby mode, the LED remains clear and turns red when in alarm condition. The company reserves the right to change specifications of products at any time without prior notice.

As smoke enters the chamber the light pulse is scattered and the photo-diode, registering this change, is generating a signal which is transmitted digitally to the control panel. Black optical smoke detector. Well suited for bedrooms and escape routes. Unaffected by the wind or atmospheric pressure.

We produce analog addressable, conventional, duct mounte wireless and two-wire detectors coupled with system components and remote accessories, approved to local standards and regulations from across the globe. Optical smoke detectors incorporate a pulsing LED located in a labyrinth within the housing of the detector. At an angle to the LED is a photo-diode which, in clear air conditions, does not receive light directly from the LED. The detector transmits a clear air signal to the control panel. Must be connected to a suitable safety barrier and protocol translator.

They develop and test the latest technology to create the safest products for the user and the easiest to products for the installer. Optical Smoke Detector works using the light scatter principle and is ideal for applications where slow-burning or smouldering fires are likely. OPERATING PRINCIPLES The XPheat detectors have a common profile with ionisation and optical smoke detectors but have a low air flow resistance case made of self-extinguishing white polycarbonate. The devices monitor heat by using a single thermistor network which provides a voltage output proportional to the Fig.

S addressable optical smoke detectors feature all the benefits of the standard range, but are developed specifically for use in hazardous areas. Due to the combination, it is considered the optimum unit for most general applications. Apollo XP– Optical smoke Detector. An earth connection terminal is also provided.

Free shipping for many products! XPionisation smoke detectors are designed to operate in a wide variety of environments (See Figs to 7). There are only small effects from temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure and wind.

Detectors are well protected against electromagnetic interference over a wide frequency range.
