We encourage you to walk on the grass, touch the trees, smell the flowers and talk to the birds. The Garden has clearly marke dedicated motorcycle parking spaces which are free of charge and not time limited. Relax and catch up with family and friends at one of our cafés or restaurants.
The hectares of the grounds are located at one of the city’s most scenic locations. The parking is metered at a rate of $per hour for a maximum of hours between 8am and 8pm. And from 8pm to 8am parking is limited to a max hours at $2. Vege garden today looks alright. It is free entry, open every day of the year and into the early evening in the Summer (daylight savings) months.
Royal Botanic Garden celebrates 2years beside Sydney Harbour. Located along Sydney Harbour within walking distance of the Hyde Park Barracks Museum and Mrs. Just walk in the direction of the Sydney Opera House and you are there. Covering an area of hectares this is a beautiful open green space within Sydney. You’ll enjoy spectacular views and take memorable photographs of Sydney Harbour, the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Entry to the gardens is free. This self-guided Botanic Gardens Walk is an excellent introduction to the city. Every great city has a park at its centre. But not many have parks as spectacular as this. Depending on the season of your visit, you might seek out spring peaches and wisteria or tropical orchids and summer lotus flowers.

In the CBD of Sydney which allows you to get to many locations either walking, public transit or driving. A farm was started at Farm Cove, just north of Sydney Cove where they had settled. Parking is available on Macquaries Roa Hospital Road and Macquarie Street. Undercover parking is also available at the Domain Car Park.
Mobility parking is available near the Wolloomooloo Gate and outside the Art Gallery of NSW. This is a wonderful, peaceful, tranquil spot to chill out, relax, recharge the batteries and take in the gorgeous views. There is so much area to explore.
Take your time and take it all in. Towards the middle of the Gardens you will find a variety of plants, flowers. Last Saturday the weather was absolutely phenomenal. Not only has it some of the most spectacular city views, it is also a quiet spot in a busy city.
Just think about the wonderful lush color of the sweeping lawns, dark green canopies and thousands of beautiful flowers. Many of the gardens ' numerous fruit bats (aka flying foxes) choose a spot high up one of these palm trees. Near the Palm Grove is the First Farm, the site of the colony's very first cultivated farmland.
The garden is one of my favorite places in this city. Reviews Growing up in Sydney , I always loved. It can’t be boiled down to just those two landmarks. Don’t get us wrong, they are amazing, must-see destinations.
But it should be criminal to miss seeing this idyllic park right on the iconic Sydney Harbour.
