Descanso gardens tickets

Descanso Gardens opens its gates for free the third Tuesday of every month and the response has been great. So great, that in order to ensure a great experience for visitors and to be good neighbors, starting in May Descanso will require advance tickets for all non–members on Free Tuesday. Become a Member OR RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP Today! Please note that memberships are non-refundable. Tickets are available three weeks before the date of Free Tuesday.

There are two times available to enter: 9am and 1pm. All visitors – including infants – need a ticket. As the sun sets, the gardens transform into an enchanted forest and your ticket is an invitation to venture in and discover the magical world that waits under the glowing foliage.

Forget the mall for an afternoon outing and head to DG. Their walk-up cafe menu has nice options on it and there are nice tables and chairs to enjoy your food and drinks. I had a fun time with the bf last December for the Enchanted: Forest of Light at Descanso Gardens.

The tickets are really pricey, but then all of the cost goes back to the gardens. I super enjoyed all of the themes and lights were beautifully decorated. General admission to the gardens is dollars, but the Enchanted Forest of Light event was a huge increase to dollars!
