Located upstairs in the Stillery, high tea is served daily between 11am and 4pm. There are lemonade scones with strawberry gel (aka jam) and whipped cream, mini lemon meringue pies and tiny, delicious smoked salmon roulades with dill cream cheese , amongst two other tiers of treats. The Calyx is a spectacular setting to indulge in high tea. The tea was quite lovely and freshly brewe and a glass of bubbles was a nice touch.


Crowning the platter is a selection of sweet pastries including French macaroons, mini cupcakes and chocolate brownies. Now for the downside, which is possibly a deal-breaker for many. The word ‘Hilton’ is synonymous with opulence and luxury. An there’s no less of a luxury feel than that of the glass panelle sleek, Sydney George Street location.

We open from 8am to 5pm daily. They don’t last long but are a sight to behold.
