Botanic gardens cafe opening hours

Enjoy monthly exhibitions with an environmental or cultural theme in the air-conditioned Lagoons Gallery or plan your visit. February – March 2 the Greenhouses will be open to Orchid Show ticketed visitors only. The Garden Café will be closed January – January 31.

The Acton Café will be open from 9. Award-winning Pollen cafe and restaurant features modern, delicious, healthy food in an atmosphere of relaxed elegance, surrounded by the beauty of the world’s most diverse collection of Australian plants. The cafe specialises in homemade food and snacks as well as selling a variety of unusual gifts and toys.

Grounds 7am - dusk (all year) Glasshouses 10am - 6pm 10am - 4. The Cafe is staffed by volunteers and all proceeds go towards maintenance of our beautiful Garden. The Botanic Kitchen Café is open 9:30am - 5pm (Last orders in the Botanic Kitchen Café at 4:30pm) November - February. The Tearooms can be found in the former Curator’s house near to the Kibble Palace.
